These cultural and recreational facilities include government-owned areas such as the Rainforest Adventure Park and the Pasig City Sports Center.
The Business Permit and Licensing Department is responsible for handling and processing paperwork that allow citizens to start, renew, and retire businesses established within the city. The Local Economic Development and Investment Office or LEDIO, formerly known as the Pasig City Investment Promotion Center, helps small and micro-business owners gain footing and get started within the city.
They help register official DTI business names to ensure that no one else can claim their business’ name, and help owners register micro businesses to help them get their investment set in and earning. Thus, small and micro businesses can grow and thrive.
The Pasig City Sports Center, located at the Pasig City Hall compound in Caruncho Avenue, is a multi-purpose arena that serves a variety of purposes for the city. It acts as a sports and events venue, an evacuation center, a vaccination site, and more.

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office is responsible for enforcing the regulations pertaining to the City’s environmental safety. This includes everything from cutting or trimming foliage in public and private areas, handling paperwork for smoke belching vehicles, and resolve environmental complaints.

As one of the most crucial departments in the LGU, the Pasig City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office stands at the frontlines in predicting, addressing, and resolving major environmental and infrastructural calamities throughout the city.
The DRRMO acts as the city’s oversight, observing live ongoings in major junctions and areas in the city through a network of LIVE CCTV footage. Citizens and entities can request for footage of these CCTV footage in case of accidents or criminal incidents.
Furthermore, the DRRMO handles disaster management for the city, handling typhoons, floods, fires, earthquakes, and more. They can trigger the city’s emergency response whenever these environmental disasters arise and send first responders and personnel to handle the protection of lives under their duty of care.
Post-disaster management is also up to this department, as they are responsible for the disbursement of medical and relief goods to affected families and citizens. Through their intervention, evacuees are also provided with safe areas, tents, and contingency plans for recovery post-disaster.
The Solid Waste Management Office handles the collection and disposal of solid waste throughout the city. With a fleet of specialized garbage trucks and operators, the SWMO manages multiple routes and schedules, roving daily to collect and dispose of the garbage for Pasig City residents. These trucks can go through public roads and streets as well as subdivisions and areas with Homeowners Associations.
Upon request, the trucks can collect solid waste at a scheduled time and day of the week as deemed necessary by various residential groups. The office is also responsible for monitoring the performance of solid waste collection, the amount that has been collected every month, and what can be done to further improve the service.
If the citizens are the lifeblood of a city, the infrastructure is the body systems through which people flow. Departments under this sector have the vital task of handling buildings, construction, engineering, and transportation management concerns throughout the city. Not only do they enforce the highest standards in construction throughout the city, but they also enforce crucial lifesaving regulations.
The City Transportation Development and Management Office delves deeply into how the citizens of Pasig City move and commute throughout the city’s roads and streets. This office is responsible not only for finding ways to ease the public’s daily commute to their jobs, schools, and homes, but they also analyze how the traffic and commuters ebb and flow throughout the city. In this way, they can determine the best choices in how to decongest the city’s traffic and provide the best routes for the daily commutes.
City Transportation is also responsible for finding better, greener ways to provide transportation to the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of commuters throughout Pasig City. This includes implementing Libreng Sakay programs to give regular workers a way to get to work easily without fighting for public transportation. And they also implemented the public bike rack program, and have strengthened the city’s bicycle commute by establishing clear bike lanes.

They have even partnered with bike shops for bike loans to enable employees to get easy, green transportation.
The Office of the City Engineer handles concerns about engineering and construction throughout the city, including surveys of proposed locations, site investigations, design plans, cost estimations, and more. The office also manages any bid-upon and awarded projects, looking into possible implementation methods, obstructions, and potential issues.
The Office of the City Engineer is also responsible for handling repair and replacement of the electrical system throughout the city which powers streetlights and other features.
For any and all buildings in the city, the Office of the Building Official provides applications for building permits. Whether they are simple buildings such as residential dwellings, or high-rise structures, all the permits must first come from the Office of the Building Official. The office requires numerous papers, including tax receipts, fire safety evaluations, rainwater collection systems, DOLE clearances, electrical permit requirements, and much more. They leave no stone unturned in ensuring the safety of the building’s construction.

The Procurement Management Office was implemented within Pasig City during the pandemic, and their functions are based on the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement and Reform Act. In line with this, the Pasig City PMO is responsible for every aspect of procurement, bids, and awarding of successful bids pertaining to various goods and services for the LGU.
The PMO is responsible for pre-procurement procedures, the pre-bid conferences, receiving and opening bids, evaluating these bids, and awarding contracts. They handle post-qualification, reconsideration requests, and other issues that may arise during the bidding and procurement process.
It’s also the PMO’s duty to continue enforcing the regulations pertaining to the Government Procurement and Reform Act, ensuring that all departments of the LGU adhere with strict compliance to these regulations. This includes technical specifications and details in preparing purchase requests, correcting potential errors, and more. To do so, they must also remain updated on any changes and developments in these regulations and restrictions.
The City Administrator’s Office holds numerous crucial duties and services, most of which entail issuing permits for cultural and civic events throughout the city. The office is also responsible for handling various permits for handling hazardous goods such as pyrotechnic devices, permits for solemnizing marriages, establishing bazaars and fairs, and even filming and photoshoots.
One of the most important functions of the OCA is handling requests for information and receiving reports of complaints and grievances from citizens. In accordance with the Freedom of Information Bill, the City Administrator’s Office also boosts overall transparency in LGU processes and data by providing statistics, data, and city information to citizens who request it.
Among the most important functions is the handling of the grievance and complaint desk, which provides citizens and LGU employees the opportunity to report anomalies in government processes, corrupt practices, criminal activity, public disturbances and nuisances, health hazards, and more across the city.
Properties and buildings fall under the jurisdiction of the City Assessor’s Office. Property owners need to approach this LGU office for reassessment, renovation and machinery permits, and requests for tax declaration. The City Assessor’s Office also verifies the taxpmapping of properties, providing the legal documentation necessary for a variety of official needs, such as certifications.

The Pasig City Human Resource Development Office handles every aspect of official employment for the LGU. They are responsible for handling employee records, timekeeping, training and development, career advancement, job applications in City Hall, and more.
The Human Resource Department is also responsible for creating and developing Pasig City GEMS (Government Employees Management System), which is a first-of-its-kind employee management system specifically for the LGU. It handles timekeeping, records, payroll, leave applications, training documentation, and more for existing employees. It also acts as a job application system, posting all the available job openings for the LGU and allowing applicants to sign up and send their personal data sheets and resumes.
HR also handles employee benefits, such as overtime pay, GSIS and Pag-Ibig loans, Philhealth Claims, maternity leaves, and more. Official documentation and paperwork such as certificates of employment, travel authority documents for foreign trips, retirement, and others.
The Internal Audit Service Unit strictly upholds the highest standards of regulations governing LGU processes and their personnel. Therefore, it is their responsibility to investigate, review, and audit the procedures, transactions, and personnel of the LGU as well as look into any reports of anomalies and issues.
The reports investigated can come from government employees, private citizens, and reports from other government entities.
The MIS Office is responsible for the management and implementation of IT-related infrastructure and applications throughout the LGU. They monitor, maintain, and add improvements to the City Hall and barangay networks and databases. They also provide the essential network infrastructure needed to ensure that the LGU’s departments and organizations have a reliable network of communication.
The MIS office also handles the ID cards and authorization for government employees, as well as provides crucial technical support on IT-related concerns and issues. This includes providing computers and other equipment to offices and facilities, keeping strict records of equipment and their end-users, and providing installation of necessary office applications.
The office is also heavily involved in the telecommunications aspect of the LGU, maintaining and inspecting phone lines, both landlines and VoIP options. As a whole, MIS is responsible for maintaining seamless communication and network integrity throughout the LGU’s operations.
The Office of the City Legal Officer, otherwise known as the Office of Legal Services, is the chief legal counsel for the City Government of Pasig. This office is mandated to formulate measures in consideration of the local legislature. It also provides legal assistance and support to the Local Chief Executive in carrying out the delivery of basic services to the public.

The Office of General Services’ jurisdiction covers various logistics, equipment, and supply management throughout City Hall. This includes a broad range of topics and concerns. The office is responsible for asset management, lending of equipment and materials, maintenance requests, and even fuel allocation for city motor vehicles. They also provide the authorization needed for access into restricted areas that require gate passes.
Because of the immense range of issues that the OGS covers, the office is one of the largest in City Hall and is represented by multiple divisions that each handle a different area of logistics and supply management. This way, the office is able to cover city-wide needs and handle the multitude of service requests they receive on a daily basis.

All official affairs that require the personal attention of the Mayor go through the Office of the City Mayor. The office is also responsible for transmitting correspondences from citizens, local and national officials or organizations, and handle the Mayor’s schedule for courtesy calls or meetings. The office is also responsible for all memorandums, ordinances, and documentation that needs the Mayor’s signature, seal, and response.
The Office is directly involved with the management of auspicious events and celebrations in the city where the Mayor’s presence is required. This includes everything from special holidays to officiating civil weddings.
Representatives of this office may also get tasked to appear in in the Mayor’s stead to crucial meetings that discuss issues and concerns in the LGU.
Vico Sotto graduated in 2011 from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He went on graduate from the Ateneo School of Government with a Master’s degree in public management.
He also won the 2018 YSEALI Professional Fellowship Award and had a residency in the Iowa Public Information Board as part of this fellowship. Mayor Sotto also taught at Arellano University for a semester as a professor of Social Sciences.
Mayor Sotto’s Five-Point Agenda placed priority in five aspects of LGU management: universal healthcare, anti-corruption/good governance, housing, education, and transparency with public consultation.
Through Mayor Sotto’s tenure, he pledged the simplification of the application process for scholarships, enabling more students to become Pasig City scholars, giving them access to education. For housing, his tenure has seen the establishment of multiple relocation and housing projects in and outside the city, giving thousands of informal settlers their own homes away from hazardous areas.
One of the most significant changes he has made is pushing for complete transparency, ensuring that the public is consulted with regards to various concerns and LGU processes. He has pushed for full compliance with the Freedom of Information bill. One of his first acts as mayor is to open a citizen’s informaton desk called Ugnayan sa Pasig, where Pasiguenos can ask for public information regarding LGU transactions and processes, and act as a tipline where anyone can report anomalies, corrupt behavior, infrastructure problems, complaints, etc.
Moreover, Mayor Sotto has been actively addressing and resolving instances of corruption, taking a stance on picket lines incidents, cracking down on illegal businesses and improving the city infrastructure.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which took hold roughly a year after he first took office, Mayor Sotto pledged to use city funds for a data-driven COVID-19 response, addressing the city’s most pressing needs. From purchasing santization drones, distributing supplemental SAP, to providing students doing remote learning tablets, his policies in response to the pandemic has placed the citizens first.
As the office of the second highest position in the local government unit, the Office of the City Vice Mayor is responsible for handling and certifying true copies of crucial city ordinances and resolutions for records and the public. The office also produces endorsement and referral letters for procedures and transactions for citizens, businesses, and other government entities.

The responsibilities of the Public Information Office revolve around disseminating vital information to the public with regards to the LGU’s activities, processes, procedures, and more. Apart from addressing concerns, complaints, and other questions that come from multiple platforms of communication, the PIO handles requests to produce collaterals and materials for other departments. These materials are for events, procedures, Citizen’s Charters and other guides that aid everyday people in finding their way through City Hall.
Acting as the news hub of City Hall, the PIO also covers events and activities within the LGU, from interdepartmental meetings to celebratory events throughout the city. The Pasig City Museum began as one of the most historic houses in the city. It was once known as the Concepcion Mansion, built by former Pasig Mayor Don Fortunato Cabrera Concepcion back in 1937. It was designed and built by architect Felizardo M. Dimanlig, who specifically stylized the home in Spanish-Baroque. It is currently one of the only three remaining structures throughout Pasig that has the same terracotta roof as it has originally had. The mansion is now the museum, and holds some of the most important historical and cultural treasures that Pasig City has to offer.
Today, the Pasig City Museum is a place of learning for citizens and students, and also plays host to many cultural events in the city.

One of the main thrusts of the Pasig City LGU is to provide access to quality education to the youth of Pasig. The Pasig City Scholar’s Office handles providing qualified residents of the city with the access and benefits of the scholarship program. This include financial aid for their studies, food packs to maintain their health and immune system during the pandemic, and even handling the distribution of electronics such as tablets for educational use.
The Scholar’s Office also provides aid to out-of-school learners, provides scholarships for SK officials, and develops the incentives programs for honor graduates of PCS Scholars.

Under Executive Order No. PCG - 30, Pasig City Social Welfare was established for the centralized delivery of the City's social and medical services, for the improved access to basic social services and promote responsive governance. The office of the City Mayor through Social Welfare Assistance Center extends Medical, Burial, Hospital Assistance and Project Damayan for every Pasigueño.
CHAMP acts as a DOH and PhilHealth-accredited multi-specialty clinic. It provides both clinical and diagnostic care for Pasigueños, as well as the highest standard of patient care. The numerous services offered by CHAMP includes hemodialysis, renal care, eye care, a full maternity and lying-in clinic and more. The pharmacy also provides access to lifesaving medication to citizens who are unable to get them privately.
CHAMP is one of the many avenues for Pasigueños to get high-quality healthcare at no to minimal fees, ensuring that all citizens are given the medical attention that they need. This is especially crucial for birthing mothers and citizens in dire need of dialysis treatment or medication.

The Health Department is one of Pasig City’s most expansive and encompassing departments in the entire LGU’s. The immense scope of health-related programs and initiatives throughout the city is managed by multiple divisions and offices. All of them have the goal of providing Pasigueños with the best possible healthcare available.
Numerous health programs have also been made free or at the most minimal cost possible for citizens. As part of the administration’s thrust towards universal healthcare, these programs have provided many citizens with the lifesaving care that would’ve otherwise been out of reach.
The span and scope of the Health Department’s jurisdiction could not be understated. It does everything from providing clinical laboratory services to handling animal bites, from issuing environmental sanitation permits to giving life-saving medication to HIV-positive individuals—the healthcare professionals employed in the Health Department work tirelessly, especially during the time of the pandemic, to provide healthcare to all. The Pasig City Children’s Hospital, also known as Pasig City Child’s Hope, is one of Pasig City’s foremost facilities in pediatrics. While they also offer a few medical services for adults, Child’s Hope’s primary services are dedicated to children and minors. This specialty hospital has an extensive range of services dedicated entirely to pediatrics and has an advanced neonatal ward. This 64-bed Level II hospital has been established as the first local government-run specialty hospital in the country.

Pasig City General Hospital is classified as a Tertiary Level Four hospital and was established in January 29, 1995. Initially, it had only been an outpatient service and emergency room facility, but it has since grown and expanded into a fully-fledged government-funded hospital, equipped to provide Pasigueños with the healthcare they need in day-to-day life. It has been awarded with a Most Outstanding Healthy Place, under the Hospital Category for two consecutive years in Metro Manila.
In conjunction with the city’s thrust towards better healthcare and providing all citizens with excellent medical services, the hospital aims to provide the highest quality of patient care possible, regardless of the patient’s social status, religious affiliation, or even method of pay. With its numerous medical services now available, PCGH has handled many different health concerns, including handling COVID patients.
The Pasig City Government subsidizes PCGH’s various expenses, which enables the hospital to handle a load of 90% charity in-patients and outpatients (including emergency and non-emergency cases), with 10% patients financed through medicare and self-payment.

The Department of Veterinary Services attends to all issues and concerns pertaining to domesticated animals throughout the LGU. The veterinary office itself offers a wide range of services, including anti-rabies vaccinations and anti-tetanus shots for people who have been bitten or scratched by animals and could potentially be at risk for contracting rabies.
In a concentrated effort to home street animals and reduce their numbers in the city’s roadways, the city vet also regularly initiates the impoundment of animals before they offer programs and events for adoption out of the Pasig Animal Pound. They also offer free spay and castration services for pet owners in the city to help control the animal population in the city. During road clearing operations, any domestic animals are handled by the city vet and brought to the Pound while livestock-type or more unusual animals are brought to RAVE Rainforest Park.
The office also handles the City Slaughterhouse Office, which verifies the safety of any meat and livestock being sold through the Pasig City markets. They provide veterinary clearances for the transportation and handling of meat and livestock as well.

Overall, the Pasig Urban Settlement Office and its three divisions are dedicated to a social service, which is to ensure that there is a home for every Pasigueño, regardless of their origins. PUSO manages all aspects of the city’s housing projects and funding for housing projects. These housing initiatives provide displaced families much needed shelter and a place to come home safely and away from danger zones.
Beyond the housing, PUSO also helps the settlers secure any necessary certificates and provide various social services that enable them to get back on their feet. With these services, all citizens of Pasig are able to gain a foothold, have safe homes, and have a place to call their own.
The Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Pasig is a proactive program of the Pasig City LGU in the fight against drugs. The council offers treatment and rehabilitation programs for drug-dependent individuals and, through the help of an accredited physician, helps them overcome their addiction.
Another major program to prevent the increase of drug-dependent is called the Kasunduan Program; this is a tripartite agreement applicable among student offenders and their parents to receive intervention and prevent minors from going further down the road of drug addiction or selling drugs.

The Peace and Order Department handles both public safety and acts as the local government’s arm in maintaining order and discipline throughout its activities. The department is tasked with identifying violators of local city ordinances and is given the role of issuing ordinance violations to them. Upon receiving ordinance violation receipts, the violators, depending on the severity of the offense and number of instances of the offense, will be given due sanctions. This could be fines, community service hours, or even imprisonment.
Furthermore, the Peace and Order Department are the safety personnel that helps guide and protect citizens during instances of natural and man-made disasters. They control crowds during the LGU’s events, and also help in providing aid and relief to citizens.

The Traffic and Parking Management Office is the LGU’s arm in maintaining the control and orderliness of the roadways throughout Pasig City. They have the power to apprehend motorists, drivers, and other violators on the road, and can even confiscate licenses if needed.
As part of their role in maintaining the orderliness of the roads, they are often called upon to assist in controlling and rerouting traffic, especially during peak hours of commute. They also enforce boundaries and redirections in case of road closures for events, motorcades, fiestas, and the like.
At the recommendation of their office, traffic signages or road markings may be repaired, reinforced, or changed as needed depending on what they determine in their on-the-ground management of the roadways.

The Tricycle Operation and Regulatory Office helps handle the processes needed by every tricycle operator group that ferries passengers throughout the city. Tricycles are one of the city’s major forms of public transportation, and as a result, there is a considerable number of tricycles, groups, and operators. Part of the necessary processes and services offered by TORO involve securing renewals of tricycle supervision, renewals of tricycle franchises, changes of ownership, and more.
The TORO is also responsible for aiding the organized bodies of tricycle drivers in securing special permits necessary to expand their work. And they can also step in to help an apprehended driver in recovering their license or their impounded tricycle during the event of traffic or road violations.
City Civil Registry
The City Civil Registry handles the official records and documentations in all civil aspects of Pasig City’s population. Understandably, it’s also one of the LGU’s busiest offices, catering to any number of concerns, requests, and issues in a single day. The office handles paperwork necessary for all Pasigueños, from birth certificates to death certificates, all of which are essential for various official and legal procedures.
The different divisions of the Civil Registry have jurisdiction in handling birth certificates, managing marriage licenses and certificates, and issuing official certified copies of various civil documents. The department also handles corrections on official civil paperwork, along with registration of court decrees.

Social Welfare
BAHAY KALINGA NG PASIGUEÑA
As part of the LGU’s endeavors to improve the protection of women and children, Bahay Kalinga ng Pasiguena serves as a haven for women at risk and who need support. Victims of domestic and sexual abuse, women with traumatic experiences, and others who need legal and psychological support can reach out to Bahay Kalinga to get the help and protection that they need.
Bahay Kalinga is crucial for the protection of women, as oftentimes women who are in abusive and dangerous situations feel that they have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. Bahay Kalinga is open to all women in Pasig City who feel they need protective custody or temporary shelter from their situations and need legal aid. With Bahay Kalinga’s help, their case can also be referred for even more assistance in other government agencies and professionals as needed.
At the recommendation of their office, traffic signages or road markings may be repaired, reinforced, or changed as needed depending on what they determine in their on-the-ground management of the roadways.

BAHAY ARUGA – BAHAY PAG ASA
Bahay Aruga was established by the Pasig City Department of Social Welfare and Development as an inclusive space that provides various social welfare services for Pasigueños in need.
Upon request of the court or the court hospital, they can provide case study reports regarding children who are in conflict of the law or children at risk and need protection. This includes psychological evaluations of the child in question. GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT (GAD)
Gender and Development (GAD) recognizes equal rights for men and women and children, nurturing capacity, leadership, managerial and entrepreneurial skills as well as providing equal opportunities and privileges plus extending their domain from home to the community in the micro and macro-level is the scope of GAD’s aim. In order to address concerns about inequality, particularly among women, International forums were held with the mandate of recognizing women’s rights, equal development opportunities with men, and ending all forms of discrimination.
Cognizant of the prevailing social, political, and economic realities affecting women’s lives, the City Government of Pasig affirms its role in the promotion of women empowerment through the pursuit of equal opportunities for both sexes in terms of resources as well as developing rules and outcomes. The City Government realizes that such pursuits can only be achieved through the abolition of system structures and policies that promote and perpetuate inequality and discrimination through the institutionalization of its Gender and Development (GAD) policy.
The working framework of the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710), the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) 2013-01, as amended by JMC 2016-01, Women in Development and Nation Building Act (RA 7192), and the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (UN CEDAW), the City Government, through the Sangguniang Panglungsod, has enacted Ordinance No. 07, Series of 2010, the Gender and Development Code of Pasig City which mandates the implementation of a comprehensive and sustainable GAD Programs. This ordinance was further strengthened by amendments through Ordinance No. 31 Series of 2020.
It is thus our goal that policies emanating from the departments and offices of the City Government be in line with the thrusts of providing heightened and equal access to social and welfare services, with a focus on health, education, and housing, to uplift the social condition, participatory governance and institutionalization of transparency, rationalization, and professionalization in government service. To these ends, we have created new and innovative programs, increased budget allocation for health, education, and social services, created systems and structures which will promote a more efficient and transparent bureaucracy, and enjoined Pasigueños to directly participate in governance.

LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
The LYDO is Pasig City’s hub for managing and handling the youth and youth service programs or organizations operating throughout the city. The office falls under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Mayor.
The office handles registering youth organizations and their programs, providing forms and certification to ensure that any youth group in the city subsequently follows the policies and guidelines under RA 10742, the SK Reform Law.
Furthermore, the office is also responsible for answering any correspondences that the Mayor’s office issues to them or the other youth groups in conjunction with various issues and concerns.

OFFICE OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS AFFAIRS (OSCA)
The Office of Senior Citizen’s Affairs handles all matters and concerns pertaining to benefits, supplementary aids, and support programs provided for senior citizens in Pasig City. Within Pasig, all citizens aged 60 years old and above qualify for a senior citizen’s card and all the benefits that it offers, including discounts for purchases and medication.
Among the core values of OSCA is to empower senior citizens in Pasig, and they do so by establishing awareness campaigns that improve the quality of life for seniors. They also ensure that senior citizens have a livable community to move within, and the office aims to provide them with quality service assistance in all aspects.

CITY SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
The City Social Welfare and Development Office is one of the most often-sought offices throughout the City Government of Pasig. The PSWD provides numerous essential social services and community programs that are needed by citizens urgently if they need protection, aid, or support from their government regarding various social issues.
PSWD handles everything from pre-marriage counseling sessions (which are mandatory to get a marriage certificate/license within Pasig) to securing certificates that allow Pasigueños to get aid after being affected by disasters. PSWD also provides support for indigent citizens and protects women and children who have become victims of abuse and need a safe place to stay.
Solo Parent Identification Cards can also be applied for in the PSWD so that solo parents can get the help and benefits that have been legally mandated to them by the government.
PSWD also provides social case study reports that can give verification to local hospitals, institutions, or non-government organizations that a citizen or their family have legitimate needs for basic social services.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITY AFFAIRS OFFICE (PDAO)
To ensure that all Pasigueños with disabilities receive their legally mandated benefits and elevate their quality of life, the PDAO handles matters regarding their registration, financial aid, and community support. The PDAO works in tandem with both local and national governments in instituting ways to ensure that PWDs get the respect, dignity, and inclusion in society that they rightfully deserve.
PWDs who are residents of Pasig City are encouraged to register for their PWD cards at PDAO so they can receive the different benefits that the ID offers, from their legally implemented discounts on services, purchases, and medication, as well as assistance in community needs, such as vaccination and more.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER
The Youth Development Center, located at Pasig Rainforest Park, provides a safe and easily accessible venue for various youth organizations throughout the city. It’s been the location of numerous fun and exciting activities for the young people of Pasig City, playing host to lessons, courses, workshops, competitions, and more.
The YDC also is home to the Teen Zone School of Arts that allows teens in Pasig City to learn guitar, piano, drums, singing, ballet, hip hop dancing, and other extracurricular activities. This enables them to make full use of their talents and nurture their potential.
